Black and White Wedding Cake with Cheeky Cake Topper

This black and white wedding cake is a moist chocolate carrot cake, sandwiched and iced with buttericing laced with rum. The cake is then covered with sugarpaste and black sugarpaste dots are stuck haphazardly all over the cake with a cmc and gin mixture.

The bridal pair are made using a chocolate torso mould and the legs fashioned with modeling paste. The bride is actually sitting upon a pillar which is beneath her skirt and cannot be seen, which is supporting her weight. Her legs are then fashioned with modeling paste and glued into place around the groom. There is a central stem of wire that runs through the torso and lower portion of each the bride and the groom, acting as a skelotal support.

The figurines are glued onto a pastiallage plaque and royal iced into place on the top of the multi tiered cake. The tier below is a black and white striped one.
